Eurostands is now Technical Partner for Fondazione Cortina 2021
Milan, 20 november 2020
At the 2021 Alpine Ski World Championships, Eurostands will play its game as a symbolic reality for over 70 years in the design and production of set-up and fittings.
Technical partner of Fondazione Cortina 2021, a body chaired by Alessandro Benetton and directed by CEO Valerio Giacobbi, the company joins the more than 6,000 professionals and volunteers by putting the quality of Made in Italy design at the service of sport to set up the designated areas to the public, the media and athletes.
An ambitious project started a year ago with the construction of the Official Time Keeper by Longines, located in Corso Italia in Cortina d’Ampezzo, and which never stopped despite the restrictions due to the health emergency. The Pearl of the Dolomites, in fact, is preparing itself to welcome, from 7th to 21st of February, over 600 athletes from 70 nations, 500 million spectators, numerous national and international media for a global event.
“I am proud to work alongside the Organizing Committee of the Alpine Ski World Championships – says Maurizio Cozzani, CEO of Eurostands – The event will be hosted in our Country after a difficult period of lockdown that has closely involved all of us. A pride that I want to share with the highest officials of Italian sport, President Giovanni Malagò and this extraordinary work team that Fondazione Cortina 2021 has put in place, chaired by President Alessandro Benetton, as testimony to the excellence of our beloved Country. An extraordinary opportunity for visibility dedicated to the commitment of our athletes and the President of the FISI Flavio Roda. With strength and determination, Eurostands supports innovation, environmental sustainability, young people and the emotions that this event brings with it.”
A great set-up work, mainly dedicated to interior fitting, which will involve the Brianza-based company from design to construction, up to assembly. Innovative spaces, entirely prepared within the Cambiago factory, which will shape the Media Center, the National Village and the VIP lounge areas. Safety is always the watchword: all areas open to the public will in fact be set up with products from the Covistop line to ensure distance and tranquility.
