The Brianza-based company realizes part of 4 installations of FuoriSalone 2021
MAD Architects' FREEDOM and Pura by Guglielmi Rubinetterie
Production, engineering, assembly, logistics
The first work of art is located in the Courtyard of Honor of the University of Milan and it’s designed by MAD Architects Studio. The installation represents a seagull, a symbol of rebirth, made out of 120 meters of profiles and metal tubes produced in Eurostands factories. The company was responsible for both construction and assembly of the work, which stands with its 6 meters high and 8 meters long on a platform of 600 kilos. Freedom, however, is not the only creation we took care of. Even Pura, indeed, is located at the same location: it is a 6 meters high totem, designed by the architect Alessandro Zambelli for Guglielmi, composed of different sheets and illuminated directly from the inside.
The restart according to Maurizio Cozzani, CEO of Eurostands
“Taking part in such an important event, showcasing our professionalism and efficiency, it’s for us a source of great pride” – says Maurizio Cozzani, CEO of Eurostands – “Every work has a precise meaning as well as the Fuorisalone itself in its entirety, because it reinforces the idea of rebirth and, above all, that of return to conviviality. Our professionals have put themselves to the test again and have worked tirelessly: this kind of events such as the Fuorisalone must be the cornerstones of an increasingly connected future capable of bringing people back to the center through live events and physical events”.
Audi City Lab e Doppia Firma
Eurostands participates in the set-up of the Audi laboratory at the milanese fashion district
The expertise of Eurostands also emerges in two other installations displayed in Milan: Doppia Firma and Audi City Lab. The first is an exhibition produced by Fondazioni Cologni and the Michelangelo Foundation related to the theme of the garden and outdoor, which returns for its fifth edition at Palazzo Morando (Milan) from 5 to 12 September. A union between the innovation of design and the tradition of the great masters of art. The creations of local artists and artisans rely on 12 exhibitors and 10 tubular bases, covered with sheet metal, designed by Studio Salaris.
The second project is Audi City Lab, a project of urban regeneration by Hines aiming to recover the historic Palazzo Pertusati, in Via della Spiga. The fully restored place will welcome stories and characters that embody the idea of progress. For this temporary hub, which will remain active for about a month (from 5 to 27 September), Eurostands laid 800sqm of suspended ceilings and platforms and 300sqm of drywall.
